Krista Di Iaconi

Managing Director, Northeast Region, Washington, DC Office

Krista Di Iaconi is the Managing Director of the Northeast region for Regency Centers.


Krista is responsible for the strategic direction of the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast portfolios, totaling 85 assets and approximately 10.7 million square feet. She also oversees the region's leasing, development, operations, and asset management. Before her current role, Krista was Senior Vice President, Senior Market Officer for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions.

She began her career as a CPA with a regional firm, Baker Tilly. Krista then spent 20 years at JBGR, the retail arm of JBG Companies, a prominent DC-based developer. She was initially controller at JBGR, then transitioned to acquisitions and development of grocery-anchored centers and mixed-use developments. She then became a Partner at JBGR with oversight of development and operations before joining EDENS as a Vice President of Development before coming to Regency.

Krista earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Mary Washington and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

She is a Trustee (Vice Chair) on the Board of The LAB School of Washington—a school for children with learning differences—where she Chairs the Development Committee (her oldest son recently graduated after attending for ten years). Krista is also active in ULI and is past Chair of the Women's Leadership Initiative (WLI) for the Washington, DC Chapter, participating on panels at the national level during the Spring and Fall meetings. She is also active in ICSC and is the executive sponsor of the Women's Initiative Network (WIN), Regency's ERG for women in the workplace.

Outside the office, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. She loves to cook (and eat!), hike or walk outdoors listening to one of the many podcasts she follows, and travel to explore new places and restaurants.
